Journaling has many benefits, but sometimes we write purely from a “headspace.” In this interactive and experiential class, we’ll explore ways to shift journaling from a serious, solitary, and cerebral slog to a more playful, curious, and embodied pursuit.
For 90 minutes, we’ll ask our brains to take a break while we experience writing through the senses — the materials used, the physical action, and the impact of what is happening around us. We’ll also explore the effect different parameters have on our writing: different shapes, scenarios, and personas. So many engaging possibilities, it’s like Parkour with a pen!
