Do you want to handle disagreements more gracefully and confidently? Do you want to stay calmer, speak up for yourself, and influence other people’s behavior more effectively? Come join us for somatic practice and discussion with friendly humans, and develop skills, ease, and power to improve challenging relationships.
We meet on Mondays at 12:00 pm ET (New York). Classes are recorded, and all replays are available for free on the class web page. Donations are appreciated, but not required.
“I come here to look after myself and get more tools to deal with the world. The more I look after myself, the more I can be of use to others.” ~ M. (regular class participant)
About the instructor: Lisa is on a mission to create a more peaceful world, based on kindness and power. As a former corporate attorney and mediator, she has been dealing with disagreements and “difficult” people professionally for over 30 years. Now she helps her clients reduce conflict at work and at home by teaching them how to stay calm and focused under stress, defuse tense situations, speak up with confidence, and disagree better. Lisa leads Embodied Peacemaking workshops based on the mindbody education system developed by Paul Linden. She is a certified embodiment coach and Yoga teacher (Yin, Vinyasa, Embodied Toolkit), martial artist (Black Belt in Kenpo Karate), Embodied Meditation teacher, practicing Buddhist, and ballroom dancer.
