Yoga for managing mood

LifeForce Yoga is not just yoga poses, although that is a part. LifeForce Yoga finds its foundation in ancient energetic yogic practices (from the Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the Bhagavad Gita, Advaita Vedanta, to name a few sources) LifeForce Yoga empowers the practitioner to manage changing moods. Through the practice of LifeForce Yoga, you will learn to dissolve the blocks that keep you from knowing your deeper self.

LifeForce Yoga includes:

  • Setting intention (sankalpa)
  • Visualization (bhavana)
  • Breathing techniques (pranayama & kriya)
  • Sound (mantra)
  • Finger yoga (mudra)
  • Postures (asana)
  • Meditation (dhyana)
  • Deep relaxation (yoga nidra)
  • Non-dual strategies for dealing with negative self-talk
